Hello!
I’m Anna, and at the moment I’m studying towards a degree in Computing and Design, and pursuing my lifelong dream to become a designer.
I’ve wanted to be an artist ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil.

As a child of the 90s, I have grown up with technology. In the picture above, I’m 1 year old and already learning how to use a computer.
I was 14 when I made my first website as a way to keep in contact with my friends. It was like an online scrapbook with a profile page for each friend, and stories of what we got up to.
Back then, I used a very old version of Microsoft Frontpage. When my school installed the Macromedia (now Adobe) suite on their system, I would spend my ICT lessons playing around in awe with Fireworks, Flash, Freehand and Dreamweaver when I should have been learning how to mail merge and position text in Microsoft Word.
I asked my school if I could buy a copy through them, and they were great and sent off a form to Macromedia. I now had some really cool software to play around with!
4 years later and I’m still making websites in between studying. I’m doing work experience at a Flash design company called Kempt with some really inspiring guys, and I’m also freelancing as a web designer.
I love taking photos too, and you can see ones I’ve uploaded Flickr.
In February, I entered Veerle’s ‘What is Graphic Design?’ competition, and my poster was displayed here on her website along with 48 others that grabbed her attention. Although it didn’t win, I was honoured that it was one of the few picked out of over 600 entries.
