		<description>I agree, teenagers should definitely be more interested in the news.  If people grow up not knowing what&#039;s happening, or not caring about what&#039;s happening, the government could pass some crazy laws overnight without them picking up on it!</description>

		<description>My mum is a child minder, so I often sit down with the kids and they read to me, but like you said they don&#039;t get much satisfaction out of it, because like you said it feels like a chore.

People say that teenagers don&#039;t read anymore but to be honest I don&#039;t agree with that at all, many teenagers read a lot online.  What I think people mean to say is that the teenagers should be reading a variety of things and not just their myspace comments :)

I think a major problem that needs to be solved is a lot of older teenagers are not reading/watching/listening any type of news at all which means the UK will be full of people who don&#039;t know what&#039;s happen out their and don&#039;t care.
